Supporting programme

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India are Co-organizing “FOODWORLD-INDIA 2009”- the global convention for food business and industry at Mumbai from November 26-27, 2009 (Bombay Exhibition Center, NSE Ground). India’ Biggest International Food Conference takes place within Annapoorna – World of food India.

“FOODWORLD INDIA” is India’s premier policy platform to bring together stake holders from Indian food processing industry including SMEs, Government bodies, consultants, service providers etc. 2008 edition of FOODWORLD INDIA was a phenomenal success and its details could be accessed from www.ficcifoodworldindia.com.

The Convention is proposed to be inaugurated by Shri. Subodh Kant Sahai, Hon’ble Union Minister of Food Processing Industries, Government of India.

The programme is slotted into four strategic sessions focusing on Consumer market, Supply chain management, Food retail and Food safety and quality which will be followed by various panel discussions on current blazing issues concerning the sector.
